In general
Personal information means all types of information that in some way can be related to you. When you make use of our website, we collect and process information of this type. It is collected, e.g. on normal access to our content, or if you register for our newsletter, take part in contests, register as a user or subscriber, use our services in other ways, or make purchases through the website.

We normally collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical details of your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you personally give express consent and type in the details yourself, we also process your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and payment details, normally in connection with sending in a form, setting up a login or making a purchase.

We have technical and organisational security measures in place to ensure that data are not accidentally or illegally deleted, made public, lost or corrupted, and that the data will not become known to unauthorised persons, be misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

Purposes
The information will be used to identify you as a user and to show you advertisements that are most likely to be relevant for you, to register your purchases and payments, and to provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimise our services and content.

How long information is stored
As a maximum, information will be stored for the period allowed by legislation, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storing it. Thus it is not possible to state a general time limit for when information will be deleted.

Passing on information
Details of your use of the website, the adverts you receive and possibly click on, your geographical location, gender and age segment etc. are passed on to third parties to the extent these details are known. You can see which third parties we are referring to in the section on Cookies above. The data is used to target advertising.

In addition we make use of a number of third parties who store and process data. They process information exclusively on our behalf, and must not use it for their own purposes.

Personal details such as your name and e-mail address etc. will only be passed on if you give consent. We only make use of processors in the EU or in approved countries which will ensure sufficient protection for your data.
